To our Tiger and Tigerette Supporters:
Message from Mrs. Diaz
“Behavior is a mirror in which everyone displays his own image.”
‐‐German author, Johann von Goethe
Thank you parents and family members for supporting our Tigers and Tigerettes!
Just a few reminders as our atheletic events for our Tigers and Tigerettes start and continue their seasons.
"Some sports fans have the misguided notion that the purchase of a ticket buys the right to practice rowdy, rude, and sometimes dangerous behavior in the stands." Negative actions from fans can lead to team penalties. We all wants what is best for our Tigers… let’s work on being positive and supportive!
Remember, you contribute to the success of each game by behaving properly. Your sports parenting goal is to be a positive role model displaying self‐restraint and good sportsmanship.
Brackett ISD parents and family members,
I challenge you to take the Parent Pledge to promote good sportsmanship.
The Parent Pledge
As a parent, I acknowledge that I am a role model. I will remember that school athletics are an extension of the classroom, offering learning experiences for students. I must show respect for all players, coaches, spectators, officials and support groups. I understand the spirit of fair play and that good sportsmanship is expected by our school, our district and UIL. I hereby accept my responsibility to be a model of good sportsmanship that comes with being the parent of a student-athlete.
One District-One Team! We support our Tigers.
