Principal's Message

It is a great honor and privilege to serve as the Brackett Secondary Principal. I am excited to be on this journey with our students and staff members. Throughout my 23 years of experience, I have served as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal, and early literacy coordinator for school districts in Abilene and Del Rio, TX.  I received both my bachelor's and master's degrees from Sul Ross University.

Jr. High and High School years are exciting times for students, and it is my hope that they take advantage of all that Brackett Secondary has to offer. I believe in the importance of building good relationships between all stakeholders to provide the best educational experience for our students. Trusting relationships lead to greater success academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our teachers and staff members strive to provide a high-quality education with safety always in mind. We have outstanding and dedicated educators who will work along with you and your child as important decisions are made. Brackett Secondary will ensure students are prepared for their next steps in life. I look forward to working with students, parents, and staff to ensure a very rewarding school year for all!
