Board Meeting scheduled for 06/13/2022 has been rescheduled for 06/23/2022 at 6:00pm

We have received notice of an UNCONFIRMED threat. As a precautionary measure, all district buildings are in a hold in place. At this time, parents WILL be allowed to checkout students BUT are NOT required to come and get them. We have additional law enforcement on site as a precaution.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Uvalde CISD community during this difficult time. As we strive to end the school year strong, we will continue to do our best to keep the staff and students safe and calm. It is our number one priority! As of right now, we will continue with all district-scheduled events. Our counselors will be available to students and staff if needed. If you have any questions or concerns, contact your child’s campus.

BOARD SEEKS COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT FOR SUPERINTENDENT PROCESS

The Brackett Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees has employed Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Executive Search Services to assist with the search for a new superintendent. The Board has requested that school personnel and the public be involved in developing a profile of the leadership qualities desired of the person the Board should seek to become the new superintendent.
